Daily journal November 22, 2001, Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in the Big Apple, that great city New York.
This is their 75th year, they began in 1927 coming on with their such a wonderful celebrated hero was the honorable Mayor Rudy Guiliani who left his wife and family recently before coming down with prostate cancer. Some thought they could not do without Rudy to govern the $40 billion worth of government funds from the federal that we have committed to the 9-11 event. The city has now elected a new multi million dollar Mayor who may not need the government's money at all to sustain the great sin city in its present mode. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade is one of the great prides of America and help make Santa Claus famous from what I am told. I've always liked to watch it on television myself during this religious holiday when the Pilgrims saw life on the Sabbath to give thanks even with the Indians, to God for his bountiful blessings. Once we attended the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl ballgame in Pasadena California and what an experience sitting on the cold concrete butted up against everybody to see Gerald Ford pass by in a convertible. The football game had 103,000 people all seem to be pushing and fighting and shaking fist all over the crowd with bloody noses. I never got to see the first play or any play for that matter because once they kicked the ball, the mob rose up and you could not hear or see anything. I finally went outside the gate and watched it on television but I am not a sports fan. Watching these wild people was a lot more exciting or even disgusting. The state made it an official federal holiday while we still had rights, if it were happening today, Thanksgiving would not be an official government holiday because of separation of church and state. Our recognition of God is forbidden now by our higher Supreme Court in public places thanks to the ACLU. Let us return traditional Thanksgiving to thank God for food, for breath, for freedom whatever is left and to pray for peace. Let us thank God for all things and especially for eternal life provided by Christ on the cross as the sacrificial Lamb of God substituting for animal sacrifice of the Old Testament. The threat today of Amtrak is now killing a 94 year-old woman that had no contact with the outside world, is a menace. Many strange things are happening to people and we are at war in a serious way in Afghanistan. The killing of innocent individuals is called peripheral or collateral damage and cause very little concern. We have no real concern also for the 50 million babies being murdered at birth or while still in the wound. What future do we have when we respect not the laws of God especially the 10 Commandments. What is the difference between those who oppose war and the teaching of Christianity in the Moslem world and Israel from those who oppose it here on our own God blessed soil, America and have been successful in defeating it of the legal use. God is being obscured even in the church as He was in the temple when he walked on the face to the earth and eventually was put to death at the request of the high priest. God is no more welcome in the church today than he was then. A majority of the pastors are spineless and prefer to guard their budget and appease the people to keep the money flowing and not rock the boat. Ministers today have largely compromised the sovereignty of God by letting Satan share their pulpits and congregation, unwilling to preach the gospel in its pure form. We are in serious trouble with God and he is “calling a ravenous bird from the East, the man that executeth my Counsel”, prophesied by Isaiah 46-11. Judgment day is coming in practice here upon us now as we continue to curse God as the prophecy illustrates. I praise his holy name and see his holy face and feel unqualified to enter into his holy presence in magnifying Him forever and ever, where he is the light. Where there is no darkness or pain or suffering or sickness or death, none ever.
